Along with her roles as coach and yoga teacher, Payton Kennedy is the creator of SHE RECOVERS Dance—a transformative guided movement experience that promotes self-awareness, body liberation, freedom, joy, and empowerment.
Payton has been organizing, hosting, and facilitating retreats for recovering women and non-binary individuals since 2018 in various locations such as Sedona, Arizona, the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, Salt Spring Island on the West Coast of Canada, and York Harbor, Maine. Her innate ability to create a welcoming and authentic space for embodied movement, coupled with her warm and grounding presence and extensive background in event planning, makes her a truly gifted facilitator.

Often referred to as the “Sober Sexpert,” Cindi is a professional recovery coach who supports women who want to focus on finding and recovering intimate connections to self and others. She is passionate about helping women in recovery find their joy and confidence in navigating relationships. She holds a Master’s Degree in Sexual Health Education and has over twenty-five years of experience as a sexual health and wellness educator. She is currently studying to be a clinical sexologist.
Being in recovery from alcohol use disorder for over six years, Cindi knows how important it is to have a confidante and cheerleader on your side to develop tools, inner strength, and confidence to achieve and maintain success in recovery.
Cindi lives in Colorado, where she focuses on coaching and speaking about topics like sobriety, sexual health, and navigating divorce.

Your retreat registration and deposit payment indicate your acceptance of the following policy. Your agreement (checked box) is required to complete your registration.Final payment for your retreat spot will be auto-billed to the credit card you have provided for your deposit 90 days prior to your retreat start date.Retreat deposits are strictly NON-REFUNDABLE. If you cancel your retreat spot, SRF does not offer refunds for any reason. However, depending upon when you cancel, a portion of your payment may be used as credit (one time only) for another retreat to be taken within the same calendar year of your original retreat date.In case of cancellation, the following penalty fees will apply:* If you cancel 31 days or more before your retreat start date, a portion of your payment may be applied to a future SRF Retreat within the same calendar year. E.g. you would forfeit 50% of your deposit ($250 of your $500 deposit if before December 20, 2023) or 50% of your final retreat payment.* If you cancel 30 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire retreat payment.If you intend to cancel, you must provide written notice of your request via email to [email protected]If you intend to cancel, you must provide written notice of your request via email to [email protected]Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. In the event, that the SHE RECOVERS Foundation cancels a retreat, a transfer of registration to a future retreat (with no penalty) or a full refund will be provided.
