SHE RECOVERS® is currently the largest online platform available to women seeking recovery, new to recovery, or in long term recovery and looking to realize their potential more fully. The SHE RECOVERS® Foundation is committed to building supports for women looking to develop individualized pathways and patchworks of recovery.
The purpose of this course is to educate and inform professionals in the approach adopted by SHE RECOVERS when working with women in the recovery realm. It broadens how recovery is typically defined through the inclusion of the multitude of pathways practiced by our community to address a myriad of life challenges and conditions that occur alongside substance related issues. It explores many different modalities of healing and addresses the need for trauma-informed practices and inclusivity in recovery spaces as well as professional settings.
This course has been approved by SHE RECOVERS® Foundation as a NAADAC Approved Education Provider (#307560) for 10 CEs upon completion of this course. SHE RECOVERS® Foundation is responsible for all aspects of this programming.
